Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist Course (CEHRS)

The PHICON Institute for Health Informatics Consultants of Atlanta is a subsidiary of the PHICON Corporation. The institute provides both on-ground and online instruction leading to the award of the Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist Certification (NHA CEHRS Certification) and the Certified Electronic Health Record and Informatics Certification (PHICON CEHRIS Certification). Both certifications are received at the completion of the course. With the ever changing climate of healthcare, this certification will better enable healthcare practitioners, healthcare workers, information technology professionals, and others to transition to careers in health information technology.

If you are looking to upgrade your skills or make a career change to healthcare information systems, the CEHRS course is your first step to learning how to implement health information systems and electronic medical record systems at healthcare facilities or on how to train health care professionals in their effective and efficient use.

The CEHRS course discusses the application of information technology solutions to clinical practice in the United States. The course will introduce you to the basic elements and functions of the Electronic Health Record and how it can improve accuracy, efficiency, privacy and safety in the current healthcare environment.

Our program explores the technological requirements for an Electronic Health Record system and discuss some of the available options in accordance to national standards and law. At the end of the course, you will receive the Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS), a nationally recognized credential given by NHA and the CEHRIS Certification, which signifies you have received additional policy and legal training in health informatics.

On the successful completion of this course, graduates will receive the following 2 certifications:

1 Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS) - issued by the National HealthCareers Association (NHA)
2. Certified Electronic Health Record & Informatics Specialist (CEHRIS) issued by Public Health Informatics Consultants (PHICON Corporation).
3. We will work diligently to help place you or help you find employment!
